Tomb Raider III Character Profiles
THE TRIBESMAN.......

Lara encounters this cannibal in one of the temples after making her way through the Crash Site. He gives Lara information on why his tribe had abandoned their settlement many years ago at the meteorite crater in Antarctica and how they retained the artifact known as the Ora Dagger. Before Lara leaves, he warns her that his tribe will still attempt to kill her. The tribesman appears in a cutscene after the level Crash Site in Tomb Raider III.
TONY.......

Under orders of Dr. Willard, an exploration party was sent into the forests of India to recover the ancient Infada stone. Tony was on board of this mission until jungle fever got hold of him and he went insane. He has left his team members for dead and had taken the Infada stone with him. Lara is forced to deal with this loose cannon before he causes more havoc. Tony is the main boss of the India based levels in Tomb Raider III.
LARA CROFT.......

Lara is generally presented as an intelligent, athletic, and somewhat reckless English woman of noble birth who travels the world in pursuit of priceless artifacts. Known as both an archaeologist and an adventurer, she frequently ventures into ancient, and often very dangerous, tombs and ruins. In addition to traps and puzzles, Lara encounters a variety of enemies including rivals, gangsters, dangerous animals (including dinosaurs), legendary creatures, and supernatural beings.
PUNA.......

A man of which little is known, Puna is the high priest of a Polynesian tribe of cannibals near the South Pacific. He wields his tremendous magical powers through the Ora Dagger. He is the boss for the South Pacific section of Tomb Raider III.
THE MARINES.......

A plane carrying these Australian soldiers has crashed into the mountains near Madubu Gorge. One of them was captured by the natives, and provides Lara with a map to traverse the nearby swamp. Others were scattered around the crash site of the plane, their commanders Lt. Tuckerman and Commander Bishop dead. They appear in the level Crash Site in Tomb Raider III. In the first movie, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Lara is helped by a number of soldiers that she seems to know quite well; this could be a possible reference to The Marines.
SOPHIA'S HITMAN.......

A mercenary who tries to ambush Lara on the roof of St. Paul's Cathedral, but is disarmed by her. As Lara interrogates him, he tells her that he works as a hitman for a woman named Sophia Leigh, as did his father and grandfather. He regains his weapon, but is hit by a ringing bell and thrown off the roof of the cathedral before he has the chance to attack Lara a second time. He appears in the cutscene following the level Thames Wharf in Tomb Raider III.
THE DAMNED.......

In the abandoned tube station of Aldwych lives a fearsome gang of masked men. Their leader, a Geordie man named Bob, explains to Lara that they were ordinary men once, who worked for Sophia Leigh's company. However, they were subject to her horrific product tests. Disfigured, they were left for dead in the sewers. Now they live their lives in seclusion, choosing to hide their deformity from the world. They appear in the Aldwych and Lud's Gate levels in Tomb Raider III.
