Sergei Mikhailov is a Russian crime boss hunting for the lost Spear of Destiny. He has corrupted Captain Yarofev in order to use his submarine. When Lara discovers the spear, Mikhailov confronts her and takes it, but is unable to withstand its power which leads to his death. Mikhailov appears in the Russia portion of Tomb Raider Chronicles.
WERNER VON CROY.......
In Tomb Raider Chronicles, stories were told of Lara's past in which she steals the Iris from Von Croy in his high-tech American business headquarters called Von Croy Industries (VCI). At the end of the game a cutscene plays with Von Croy and a digging team finding Lara's backpack in the ruins, picking up from the end of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation.
LARA CROFT.....
Lara is generally presented as an intelligent, athletic, and somewhat reckless English woman of noble birth who travels the world in pursuit of priceless artifacts. Known as both an archaeologist and an adventurer, she frequently ventures into ancient, and often very dangerous, tombs and ruins. In addition to traps and puzzles, Lara encounters a variety of enemies including rivals, gangsters, dangerous animals (including dinosaurs), legendary creatures, and supernatural beings.
THE GRIM REAPER.......
Although he does not harm Lara, she follows him throughout the labyrinth where she finds the Bestiary, a book which later helps her defeat the demon horseman Vladimir Kaleta. The Grim Reaper appears in the second Black Isle level in Tomb Raider Chronicles.
THE HANGING DEMON.......
Hanging by Gallow's Tree, a demon resembling a rotting corpse begs a young Lara to come closer before requesting she finds his heart buried within the roots of the tree. He appears in the level Gallow's Tree in Tomb Raider Chronicles.
ADMIRAL YAROFEV.......
The proud captain of a first class nuclear submarine, hard times have forced Yarofev to accept bribes and missions he would rather not be involved with. When he first discovers Lara on board the submarine, he has her locked inside the sleeping quarters being used as a cell block. Later, Lara finds him wounded in the submarine's control room after the impact of Mikhailov's death severely cripped the sub. He helps her activate the escape pod so she can escape, but chooses to remain behind as the submarine crashes into the sea bed. Yarofev appears in the Russia chapter of Tomb Raider Chronicles.
ELDERLY MAN.......
As Lara makes her escape with the Iris artifact from the VCI Headquarters in New York, the entire facility is placed on red alert. Von Croy and an elderly assistant view surveillance footage of Lara breaking into the building. As Von Croy recognises Lara, the elderly man comments that his past has returned to haunt him once more. The Elderly Man appears in a single cutscene during the VCI Tower Block chapter in Tomb Raider Chronicles.
VLADIMIR KALETA.......
Vladimir Kaleta is demon who goes under the name of Verdilet. Father Patrick Dunstan and young Lara meet him at the Black Isle, trapped on the island for 700 years. He was promised the gift of eternal life, concealled within an ancient scroll by the dullard Abbot and his cohorts, but was tricked and remains trapped within a barn surrounded by flowing water. He kidnaps Dunstan in order for Lara to shut of the running water at an old mill. Kaleta appears in the final Ireland level in Tomb Raider Chronicles.
